Job summary

Sulzer in Madrid is seeking a Head of Cyber Security to lead the global technical cybersecurity function and drive security architecture across applications, cloud, OT, and digital products. The role partners with senior leaders to embed secure-by-design practices, manage risk, and shape Sulzer's cybersecurity strategy as part of a tech-driven transformation in a multinational industrial company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in cybersecurity, information technology, engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity architecture, security engineering, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Sulzer's cybersecurity architecture and engineering roadmap.
• Lead the global technical cybersecurity function and develop organizational capabilities.
• Drive secure-by-design principles across apps, infrastructure, cloud, OT, and digital products.
• Partner with Enterprise Architecture and technology domains to embed security in initiatives.
• Establish and govern security standards, architecture principles, and technology direction.
• Lead security reviews and support risk-based design decisions.
• Advise executives on cybersecurity strategy, architecture, and technology risks.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and guide their secure adoption.
• Oversee implementation and lifecycle management of security technologies.
• Drive automation, standardization, and risk reduction initiatives.
• Define security requirements across identity, infrastructure, network, cloud, OT, and digital products.
