JINGDONG Logistics (JD Logistics) in Madrid seeks an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee hazardous goods handling within our logistics network. You will ensure compliance with safety regulations and optimize storage, picking, and dispatch operations.

Lead a team of warehouse operatives, implement risk assessments and emergency plans, and coordinate with regulators to maintain the highest safety standards and reliable service.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years in warehouse management, with at least 3 years handling hazardous goods.
• Deep knowledge of national and international hazardous goods regulations (GHS, DOT, OSHA, IATA DGR, IMDG).
• Certifications in hazardous materials handling or safety management (DGSA, HazMat Responder).

Responsabilidades

• Oversee safe receipt, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of hazardous goods.
• Develop and enforce safety procedures, risk assessments, and emergency plans.
• Ensure staff handling hazardous goods receive training and ongoing refresher courses.
• Maintain accurate inventory records with proper segregation and labeling.
• Oversee maintenance and calibration of equipment for hazardous goods.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections.
• Liaise with regulators and safety officers to ensure compliance.
• Manage warehouse operatives and provide leadership and development.
• Optimize layout and processes to maximize space for hazardous goods.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations and best practices.
