Nextpower seeks an electronics engineer to design, develop, and optimize hardware for high-performance energy conversion systems. You will define architecture, select components, and create PCB designs while performing simulations and lab validation.

Experience ranges 0-3 years with degrees in Industrial, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering. English and Spanish fluency are required to support cross-functional teams and certifications.

Formación

  • Degree in Industrial, Electrical or Electronics Engineering required or related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in relevant roles.
  • Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

  • Design and develop electronics hardware for energy conversion systems.
  • Define hardware architecture, schematics, and component selection based on requirements.
  • Design, calculation, and implementation of low-signal analog and digital circuits.
  • PCB design and layout.
  • Simulation and validation of circuits.
  • Component selection and procurement support.
  • Lab validation and testing with proper equipment.
  • Support product certification and compliance with IEC, UL, CE standards.
  • Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Job Description
JOB MISSION:

Design, develop and optimize electronics hardware for high-performance energy conversion systems, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, thermal, EMC, reliability, and cost requirements throughout the entire product development lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electronics hardware for energy conversion systems.
  • Define hardware architecture, schematics, and component selection based on technical and product requirements.
  • Design, calculation, and implementation of low-signal electronic circuits. Expertise covers analog electronics, digital electronics, and communication technologies.
  • Printed Circuit Board (PCB) design.
  • Simulation and validation of low-signal analog and digital electronic circuits.
  • Selection of electronic components.
  • Validation and testing of electronic designs in laboratory environments using electronic test and measurement equipment.
  • Technical support for other departments.
  • Support for product certification and compliance processes required for commercialization, ensuring adherence to applicable standards and regulations. Support product certification activities in accordance with IEC, UL, CE, and other applicable international standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and quality) to support product development.
Usual/Daily
JOB FUNCTIONS :
  • Design and develop electronics hardware, including schematics, Printed Circuit Boards and simulations
  • Perform calculations and simulations to optimize hardware performance and reliability.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, calculations, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Execute laboratory verification and troubleshooting, including functional, thermal, EMC, and reliability testing, and perform root cause analysis of hardware issues
Periodic/Occasional
  • Support to other departments.
  • Analysis and testing at customer facilities in cases of support to other departments, or for U-TI Design projects.
  • Support product certification and supplier activities, including technical reviews, component qualification, prototype builds, and compliance with IEC, UL, and CE standards.
Required Qualification & Experience
  • University degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Preferred profile: Industrial Engineer with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 0-3 years of experience.
  • Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken), other European languages are a plus.
