Airbus Defence and Space in Salamanca (MATACÁN Air Base) seeks a Tools & Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Maintenance Manager to lead the MRO Network Team responsible for the C295 MTA fleet. You will oversee tooling, GSE/AGE management, calibration, and planning to ensure availability for each maintenance event.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years in maintenance or tooling, strong problem-solving, and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Education: Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering degree, or related technical discipline.
• Experience: ~4–5 years in Maintenance (MRO), Engineering, Production Control, or Tooling Management.
• Soft skills: Adaptability, problem-solving mindset, hands-on initiative, teamwork.
• Languages: Spanish (Advanced); English beneficial.
• Technical knowledge: GSE/AGE management, tooling calibration standards, maintenance planning, and KPI monitoring.
• Travel: Occasional national travel for training or meetings.
• Nice to have: Military platform support or C295 aircraft ops.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze means and tooling requirements prior to each maintenance event, launching requests and guaranteeing full availability.
• Manage and secure internal tools and GSE/AGEs, ensuring calibration, inventory tracking, and shipment controls.
• Anticipate and resolve shortages of critical tools or ground support equipment to minimize delays.
• Update daily planning and master planning reports for weekly progress meetings.
• Monitor and report KPIs to track operational efficiency and service levels.
• Provide initial engineering support and production control for local maintenance activities.
