Job summary

Nordex Group is seeking a Group Lead Nacelle Developments in Madrid to manage a team of Project Managers overseeing drive train and machine house modules. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across Global Engineering, Product Strategy, and Service to ensure projects meet budget, timeline, and quality standards.

The role involves risk management, stakeholder engagement, and driving continuous improvement in turbine development processes.

Qualifications

• Completed M.Sc in Engineering, Mechanics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar degree with PM certification preferred.
• Experience leading a team of Project Managers and mentoring team members.
• Experience in wind industry project management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent stakeholder communication across the organization and global perspective.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Project Managers focused on drive train and machine house developments.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Global Engineering, Product Strategy, PM/EPC, Service.
• Manage multiple development projects ensuring budget, timeline, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Turbine Integration Engineering teams.
• Oversee development from concept to serial production including prototyping and testing.
• Report progress to the Vice President and manage risks and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of Nordex turbine development process.
• Ensure Health and Safety regulations.
