Luminary Bank is seeking an experienced Group Accountant to manage accounting across multiple group entities in a fast-growing fintech environment in Valencia. You will collaborate with Finance, Operations and external auditors to ensure IFRS compliance and accurate consolidation.

The role covers month-end close, intercompany invoicing, financial reporting, and process improvements across ERP platforms. Fluency in Russian and English is required, and relocation to Valencia is encouraged for the

Formación

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; experience with local GAAP across jurisdictions is an advantage.
• Experience with multiple legal entities, intercompany accounting and consolidation.
• Hands-on month-end closing, GL accounting, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP platforms.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or ACA is an advantage.
• Experience in fintech, banking, payments or regulated financial services is highly desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Group Accounting: maintain policies, COA consistency, IFRS/local GAAP alignment.
• Multi-Entity & Consolidation: consolidate across entities, intercompany reconciliations.
• Month-End & Year-End Closing: post journals, accruals, reconciliations.
• Financial & Regulatory Reporting: statutory/management reporting with external accountants.
• Ledger Integrity & Reconciliations: bank, payment, card, wallet accounts reconciliation.
• Accounting Operations: AP/AR, payroll accounting, intercompany invoicing.
• Audit Support: prepare documentation and respond to auditor queries.
• Systems & Process Improvement: ERP automation, workflow and controls enhancements.

Luminary is looking for an experienced Group Accountant to manage and support accounting activities across multiple Group entities, working in an international fintech environment alongside Finance, Operations, senior management, external accountants, and auditors across jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities

• Group Accounting : Maintain Group accounting policies, chart-of-accounts consistency, and alignment between IFRS and local GAAP.
• Multi-Entity & Consolidation : Perform accounting across Group entities, prepare consolidation schedules, and reconcile intercompany balances and FX adjustments.
• Month-End & Year-End Closing : Post journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations; keep assigned entities on the Group closing calendar.
• Financial & Regulatory Reporting : Support statutory and management reporting, coordinating with external accountants and local service providers.
• Ledger Integrity & Reconciliations : Reconcile bank, payment, card, and wallet accounts; investigate and resolve discrepancies.
• Accounting Operations : Manage day‑to‑day AP/AR, payroll accounting, and intercompany invoicing for assigned entities.
• Audit Support : Prepare audit documentation and working papers, and respond to auditor queries.
• Systems & Process Improvement : Work with ERP platforms, support automation, and improve accounting workflows and controls.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, with 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS; experience with local GAAP across jurisdictions is an advantage.
• Experience working with multiple legal entities, intercompany accounting, and consolidation processes.
• Hands‑on experience with month‑end closing, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting systems or ERP platforms.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or ACA is an advantage.
• Experience in fintech, banking, payments, or regulated financial services is highly desirable; payment processor, card scheme, or crypto wallet reconciliation experience is a plus.
• Fluent Russian and English, written and spoken, required.
• Based in Valencia or willing to relocate.
