Kardem Tekstil seeks a creative Graphic & Print Designer to join its Barcelona studio, delivering fashion and textile graphics, prints, and product concepts. You will collaborate with the design team to interpret brand direction and seasonal trends into production-ready artwork.

The role emphasizes strong illustration, print technique knowledge, and the use of AI-assisted tools. Candidates should be based in Barcelona or nearby and ready to start quickly.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in graphic, print, or textile design; fashion/textile industry preferred.
• Strong interest in fashion and textile trends.
• Good command of written and spoken English; Spanish a plus.
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of printing techniques and textile printing processes.
• Hand-drawing and illustration skills for fashion/ textile prints.
• Ability to use AI-supported design tools in the creative process.
• Ability to manage design tasks and own projects.
• Ability to transform concepts into production-ready artwork.

Responsabilidades

• Develop graphics, prints, and visual concepts for fashion and textile products with the design team.
• Create print and graphic design proposals aligned with customer expectations and brand identity.
• Conduct trend, market, and competitor research and translate insights into designs.
• Develop fashion and textile prints using hand-drawing, illustration, and digital methods.
• Prepare mood boards, presentations, and visual materials for collections.
• Revise artworks based on feedback from design team and customers.
• Apply printing knowledge to ensure production-ready designs.
• Prepare accurate, production- and print-ready artwork files for printing and product development.
• Use AI tools to enhance the design process.
• Coordinate sample development and assist with collection prep.
• Collaborate with design, product development, and sales teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication Design, Fine Arts, Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field,
• 2–5 years of professional experience in graphic, print, or textile design; professional experience in the fashion and textile industry is highly preferred,
• Strong interest in fashion and the textile industry, with a good understanding of fashion, textile, graphic design, and market trends,
• Good command of written and spoken English; Spanish is a plus,
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator,
• Good knowledge of printing techniques and textile printing processes,
• Strong hand-drawing and illustration skills, with previous experience creating fashion or textile prints using these techniques,
• Ability to effectively use AI-supported design tools in the creative and design process,
• Ability to independently manage design tasks and take ownership of assigned projects,
• Ability to transform creative concepts into technically accurate, production- and print-ready artwork files,
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics,
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented and cross-functional environment,

Job Description

• Develop graphics, prints, and visual concepts for fashion and textile products in collaboration with the design team,
• Create print and graphic design proposals in line with customer expectations, brand identity, and seasonal trends,
• Conduct trend, market, and competitor research and translate insights into relevant design concepts,
• Develop fashion and textile prints using hand-drawing, illustration, and digital design techniques where appropriate,
• Prepare mood boards, presentations, and visual materials for collections,
• Develop, adapt, and revise artworks based on design team and customer feedback,
• Apply knowledge of printing techniques and textile printing processes to develop technically appropriate designs,
• Prepare accurate, production- and print-ready artwork files for printing and product development processes,
• Effectively utilize AI-supported design tools to enhance the creative and design development process,
• Coordinate sample development and contribute to collection preparation activities,
• Collaborate closely with design, product development, and sales teams throughout the collection process,
• Ensure design files are well-organized, accurate, technically appropriate, and ready for production,
• Contribute creative ideas, identify design opportunities, and take ownership of assigned design projects,
• Follow the company’s full-time, office-based working model and designated working hours.
