INDEEP AI in Barcelona is seeking a Grants Manager to join our Typewiser team. You will identify grant opportunities in the EU and USA, define implementation roadmaps, and create content and demos to support grant initiatives.

The role requires a master's degree, 3+ years of EU/US grant experience, and English at C1 or higher. You will work in a fast-paced startup environment from our Barcelona office, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

At Indeep AI, we are an applied AI research laboratory working at the intersection of natural language processing, linguistics, and human cognition. Our work is grounded in a simple conviction: the tools we use to write and understand documents should make communication clearer and more trustworthy, not less.

That research powers Typewiser, our document intelligence platform. Typewiser helps people produce and understand high-stakes documents with greater clarity and rigour, analysing how information is communicated, surfacing where meaning breaks down, and supporting the writer in real time. It is backed by European research funding and built on peer-reviewed scientific foundations.

We are a small, multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and linguists. We are at the stage where the way we present ourselves to the world is still being built. That is where you come in.

About the Role

We're seeking a Grants Manager to join our Typewiser team at Indeep Artificial Intelligence (IAI), the creators of cutting-edge AI-powered grant writing software, at our office in Barcelona. You'll play a pivotal role in extending Typewiser's reach to a global level - but this isn't your typical grant management position.

We need someone with a strong startup attitude: sharp problem-solving skills, the ability to manage priorities and deliverables autonomously without rigid timeframes, and the capacity to handle diverse task assignments. If you thrive in ambiguity, move fast without sacrificing quality, and can pivot when priorities shift, you're exactly who we're looking for. • Full Office-Based Work Modality: Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 at WeWork Glòries Barcelona

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify high-potential grant opportunities in the EU and USA against product fit and ROI.
• Define the roadmap for the implementation of new grants in Typewiser's database.
• Create informational and promotional content for grants in focus; organise Typewiser demos, workshops, and masterclasses.
• Participate in B2B client and prospect calls to gather documentation requirements, translating them into actionable implementations.
• Collaborate with external domain experts to build industry-specific content generation capabilities.

Qualifications Required:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a quantitative scientific discipline (e.g., Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Life Sciences).
• C1-level proficiency in English or higher.
• 3+ years of direct experience navigating EU and/or US grant landscapes (understanding funding mechanisms, compliance requirements, application cycles).
• Strong and proven analytical and research capabilities.
• Comfort operating between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup/scale-up environment.

Preferred:

• Academic experience in research administration or grant management programs.
• Professional experience as part of Horizon Europe National Contact Points or other institutions supporting startups and SMEs to obtain funding in Europe.
• B2B client-facing experience, particularly consultative selling or needs assessment.
• Working proficiency in at least one other EU language, preferably Spanish and Italian.

• €40,000 - €60,000 yearly gross salary depending on demonstrable experience in EU/US/national grant writing and proficiency in prompt engineering.
