Indra Group is seeking a GNSS System Engineer in Torrejón de Ardoz, Spain. The role focuses on systems engineering best practices across conception, specification, and design phases to produce high-quality technical documentation.

Formación

• Proven experience in systems engineering, particularly in early lifecycle phases.
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS.
• Strong understanding of GNSS systems and performance analysis.
• Solid background in radiofrequency concepts.
• Knowledge of instrumentation management.
• Familiarity with ESA ECSS or similar standards.

Job Summary

We are looking for a GNSS System Engineer with strong experience in systems engineering best practices. The role focuses on conception, specification, and design phases, producing high-quality technical documentation and working with complex technical systems.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering best practices across conception, specification, and design phases.
• Manage and track system requirements using tools such as DOORS and JIRA.
• Analyse GNSS system concepts, signals, and performance, including RF interference detection and geolocation.
• Work with radiofrequency and baseband subsystems, including link budget analysis.
• Manage instrumentation activities related to system validation and testing.
• Use MBSE tools (e.g., Capella, Enterprise Architect) to support system modelling and design.
• Produce clear and structured technical documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in complex technical environments.
• Handle complex technical systems and associated problem-solving.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in systems engineering, particularly in early lifecycle phases (conception, specification, design).
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS and tracking tools like JIRA.
• Strong understanding of GNSS systems, including system concepts, signals, performance, interference detection, and geolocation.
• Solid background in radiofrequency concepts (link budgets, RF and baseband subsystems).
• Knowledge of instrumentation management.
• Experience with MBSE tools such as Capella, Enterprise Architect, or similar.
• Familiarity with ESA ECSS or similar standards.
• Advanced technical knowledge in:

• DOORS (Advanced)
• GNSS/WiFi/Cellular/RF Geolocation (Advanced, 4-5 years of experience)
• Functional expertise in Defence & Security and Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) (Advanced, 4-5 years of experience)
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
