MAHLE GmbH in Valencia, Spain, is seeking a Compressor Test Engineer to perform durability and performance tests on mechanical and electrical compressors for the automotive sector. You will ensure data reliability, calibrate equipment, and present results with deep data analysis using Excel and Diadem.

The role involves coordinating with international engineering sites, installing and maintaining air conditioning systems in test rigs, and driving continual improvement in the testing laboratory.

Formación

• Minimum educational background as stated (HNC/BTEC/BAC+3 or equivalent).
• English required; German a strong asset; Spanish and French considered.
• Good electrical understanding and mechanical competence.
• F-GAS refrigerant training to J-11 level preferred.
• Quality control processes experience.
• Experience with air conditioning, vehicle AC preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure all customer confidentiality requirements are met and continually adhered to.
• Comply with all local safety requirements and maintain a clean, orderly storage and working area.
• Mechanical fixing test compressors to the test equipment to run the desired tests.
• Installing and maintaining air conditioning systems into the test equipment, including welding, machining and modifying vehicle AC lines or manufacturing new ones.
• Following the test requirements and reporting structure as required.
• Continual improvement processes on the test equipment and within the test laboratory.
