Job summary

Ecolab is seeking a Procurement Manager for our Procurement Centre of Excellence in Barcelona, Spain. You will design, own and deploy the sourcing strategy for main product categories at a global level, aiming to ensure supply at the best possible TCO.

The role reports to the Ovivo Commercial Project Manager and requires 10+ years of international sourcing experience with expertise in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, SRM, and supplier/contract management.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Engineering and/or Business with sourcing or negotiation certification preferred.
• 10+ years of international sourcing experience within industrial or engineered-to-order environments.
• Strong expertise in Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, SRM, supplier and contract management.
• Experience managing procurement for complex projects within matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy sourcing strategies to optimize total cost of ownership across identified categories.
• Act as business owner for categories; lead negotiations with suppliers and align with stakeholders.
• Apply TDC methodology to build best-in-class supply meeting company goals.
• Collaborate with Project Management, Operations, Engineering and Business to meet milestones.
• Identify and remedy supply disruptions and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Maintain expert knowledge of categories, competition, and innovations.
