Fever seeks a Global Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join its HR Team in Madrid. You will manage end-to-end payroll operations across several countries, coordinating with external providers and ensuring timely, compliant payments while overseeing benefits programs on an international scale.

About The Role

Join our dynamic HR Team as a Global Senior Payroll & Benefits Specialist, where we seek an experienced professional with a proven track record in payroll. This role extends beyond traditional payroll responsibilities, requiring a versatile individual to serve as the link between our HR team and external payroll providers. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in streamlining HR services, which covers payroll, benefits and other HR-related functions on an international scale.

What You’ll Do

• Manage payroll operations end to end for a portfolio of countries, following up closely with external providers and resolving day to day issues autonomously.
• Ensure accurate and compliant payments, proactively monitoring tax and social security changes and making sure they are applied on time.
• Analyze salary costs and payroll data to spot risks, trends and savings opportunities, and propose recommendations.
• Act as the go to person for complex payroll, tax and social security queries from employees.
• Partner with HR, Finance and Tax teams to anticipate and solve payroll related issues.
• Manage benefits administration in your countries, benchmarking the market and preparing proposals for new benefits.
• Identify improvement opportunities, propose solutions and implement them within your scope.

Who You Are

• Experience: 5+ years in payroll and benefits, with hands on experience in multi country payroll through external providers or EOR.
• Languages: Fluent English (C1 or higher). Additional languages are a strong asset.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, lookups, reconciliations). Knowledge of Personio is an advantage.
• Key Competencies: Sound judgment, the ability to manage several countries at once and the confidence to challenge providers with data.
• Mindset: Self driven and proactive, anticipates problems and comes with solutions rather than questions.
