Amazon seeks an experienced Technical Infrastructure Program Manager to own the strategy and delivery of first-time automation deployments across the global fulfillment network. You will define deployment strategies, own end-to-end programs, and mentor engineers while working across continents.

The role involves influencing senior leaders, coordinating with multiple regions, and enabling downstream teams to scale with repeatable processes.

Formación

• Experience in program or project management.
• Experience managing complex infrastructure technology programs or deployments end-to-end.
• Experience defining infrastructure deployment strategies for new technologies where build plans did not previously exist.
• Experience mentoring and developing engineers.
• Experience with written communication including authoring narratives and presenting to Directors and VPs.

Responsabilidades

• Define and own the end-to-end infrastructure deployment strategy for complex, first-time automation technologies where deployment plans do not exist.
• Manage the full lifecycle of complex, cross-functional infrastructure builds across teams and resources.
• Lead cross-functional alignment within a VP organisation, advising on trade-offs and prioritisation.
• Define infrastructure build requirements and dependencies for new products; identify design issues and provide feedback to engineering teams.
• Build scalable deployment mechanisms and tooling to standardise processes across the organisation.
• Make trade-offs between short-term delivery and long-term sustainability using data-driven decisions.
• Mentor and develop junior deployment engineers and drive engineering best practices.
• Evaluate large-scale automation technologies across multiple countries and building types.
