Pod Talent is seeking a Global Category Manager for Commodities/Raw Materials based in Barcelona. The role leads procurement for key ingredient commodities with a spend over €100m, and relocation support is available.

The candidate will influence commodity strategy, supplier relationships, and sustainability initiatives across business units, with a strong emphasis on risk management and market hedging. Prior experience in food or agriculture sectors is preferred.

Global Category Manager, Commodities/Raw Materials – Global FMCG Business, Barcelona (relocation support available)

A leading FMCG business has recently transformed their global procurement function and are seeking a strong commodity procurement professional to join their direct procurement team based in Barcelona. You will lead procurement for key ingredient commodities across a spend exceeding €100m.

This is a key procurement vacancy in the context of ongoing transformation activity and is critical to deliver the broader goals of the procurement function. The business is looking to improve in areas including commodity strategy (hedging and risk management) strategic supplier relationship management, sustainability and influencing across business units, so experience in these areas is highly advantageous.
