Ferrovial is seeking an hands-on innovation leader to drive energy, sustainability, and resilience initiatives across its airports, energy and infrastructure portfolio. You will translate advanced tech into practical pilots and scalable business cases, collaborating with engineers, business units and partners.

The role requires extensive experience in corporate innovation with strong engineering judgment and stakeholder management.

Formación

Engineering degree required and relevant technical background.
8–12 years of experience in corporate innovation, technical offices or critical asset operations.
Real engineering judgment with ability to defend a technical decision.
Knowledge of energy and infrastructure systems incl. grid, electrification, storage, microgrids and energy management.
Familiarity with low-carbon materials, carbon technologies, embodied carbon and lifecycle thinking.
Ability to collaborate across business units, operators, OEMs, startups and universities.

Responsabilidades

Lead energy, sustainability and resilience projects from identification through pilot and scale-up.
Design and run proofs of concept with business units, OEMs and partners, setting KPIs and decision gates.
Translate technical options into clear business cases for senior leadership.
Evaluate emerging low-carbon technologies and assess their practical potential.
Contribute to projects on low-carbon materials and circularity if applicable.
