Amentum is seeking a POL Facility Maintenance Manager to support a unique US Navy program on the island of Diego Garcia. The role oversees fuel systems, infrastructure, and related facilities, coordinating with contractors and government personnel to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance across the POL network.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of bulk fuel management experience, strong planning and leadership skills, and the ability to obtain needed clearances and country visas.

Formación

• Five years of experience coordinating bulk fuel management operations in operational and managerial roles.
• Strong knowledge of spill prevention and countermeasures planning and related regulations.
• Ability to oversee maintenance and repair of complex fuel systems and facilities with long and short-term planning.
• Experience inspecting facilities, monitoring infrastructure, and ensuring compliance.
• Proven leadership of cross-functional teams and effective communication with contractor and government personnel.

Responsabilidades

• Facility Maintenance and Planning: develop and implement maintenance plans for fuel systems and support facilities across the Diego Garcia fuel supply system.
• Spill Prevention: create and maintain spill prevention plans and respond to spills promptly and effectively.
• Coordination: work with contractor and government personnel to address operational issues and ensure smooth integration with base functions.
• Operations and Oversight: supervise maintenance activities, monitor compliance with safety and environmental standards, and ensure PPE use and safety protocols.
