Job summary

Grifols, a global healthcare company headquartered in Spain, is seeking a Pharmacovigilance professional for a hybrid role based in Sant Cugat del Vallès. The position involves safety data collection, SAE processing, clinical study oversight, and preparation of DSURs/PSURs within a collaborative, diverse team.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s in health sciences or bioscience and 1 year of PV experience in a CRO or pharma setting, with fluent Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or bioscience or similar.
• 1 year experience in a similar PV role in a CRO or pharmaceutical company.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in safety data collection, review, processing, evaluation, analysis and compilation.
• Process adverse event case reports (SAEs from clinical trials) and conduct follow-up to meet regulatory timelines.
• Provide technical oversight and be the pharmacovigilance representative for clinical studies.
• Subject matter expert for documents pertaining to clinical studies.
• Ensure compliance of pharmacovigilance activities with clinical teams and business partners.
• Develop safety management plans, SAE forms, safety reporting training, and AE data reconciliation.
• Assist in assessing benefit/risk of medicines based on data management.
• Prepare DSURs, and participate in PSURs and RMPs.
• Create/update pharmacovigilance procedures and working practices.
• Support PV staff involved in audits and inspections.
