Job summary

Grifols seeks a Pharmacovigilance Data Analysis Manager to support global PV activities and ensure high-quality deliverables that meet regulatory timelines. You will lead PV system projects, coordinate global data tasks, and work closely with IT and regulatory teams.

The role requires 4+ years in PV, knowledge of E2b standards, and strong communication in Spanish and English. A hybrid work arrangement in Sant Cugat del Vallès offers strategic flexibility and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences (pharmacy, nursing, medicine, veterinary, etc) or Bioscience (biochemistry, biotechnology, biology).
• ≥4 years of pharmacovigilance experience including management of PV databases.
• Experience in team management.
• Proficient in Windows and MS Office; familiarity with Business Objects is preferred.
• Knowledge of E2b (R2) and E2b (R3); MedDRA/WHODrug is a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills; good judgment.
• Strong writing and communication skills for design proposals, test scripts and training.

Responsibilities

• Support drug safety applications with business administration tasks.
• Deliver cost-effective, sustainable PV solutions meeting business requirements.
• Create training documentation and work instructions.
• Coordinate and manage signal management.
• Manage PV documentation (SOPs, WP, requirements, specs).
• Lead change management to adapt to new PV processes and integrations.
• Interact with Regulatory Authorities regarding safety database transmissions.
• Prioritize improvements based on user requests and regulations.
• Ensure data consistency and integrity in the safety database.
• Coordinate database updates for submission rules and product/study configurations.
• Supervise data extraction queries for PV documents.
• Oversee queries to identify cases for periodic reports.
• Obtain case listings from the database for specific situations.
• Manage IT tickets for system compliance and improvements.
• Plan and prioritize scheduled IT tickets.
• Lead project integration of the Grifols PV system.
