the company is seeking a Global Operations Associate to manage end-to-end freight movements and ensure top-notch service across the regional network. You will coordinate with carriers, vendors, and regional trade lanes, while maintaining strict adherence to SOPs and compliance policies.

Spanish and English fluency is required, with a strong emphasis on communication, attention to detail, and efficient task prioritization in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

  • BA/BS Degree or forwarding training completed.
  • 2+ years in operations/logistics/freight forwarding.
  • Technology-first mindset; thrives in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.
  • Attention to detail and feedback receptiveness.
  • Clear verbal and written communication; teamwork oriented.
  • Compliance-focused attitude for regulated industry.
  • Client service mindset with problem-solving orientation.

Responsabilidades

  • Be the front line ensuring on-time shipments and first-class client experience.
  • Meet internal KPIs and SLAs, prioritizing multiple tasks.
  • Follow SOPs and flag improvement opportunities.
  • Resolve client issues quickly, coordinating with carriers and vendors.
  • Guard against leakage and promote cost-conscious operations.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations with internal/external partners.
  • Execute end-to-end freight movements (imports/exports) in a regional network.
  • Support partner-managed shipments to drive continuity and parity.
  • Utilize data/tools to inform decisions and improve efficiency.

Your responsibilities as a Global Operations Associate include, but are not limited to the following:


  • Be the 'front line' in ensuring the highest standard of the company quality: shipments move on-time, exceptions are handled proactively, and clients receive a first-class experience through timely, clear communication.

  • Be responsible for ensuring your work satisfies internal KPIs and SLAs that demonstrate quality delivery, independently managing your priorities and commitments.

  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and proactively flag opportunities for improvement.

  • Solve client issues quickly and ensure smooth operations at origin and destination, developing solutions independently and escalating to senior team members as needed

  • Act in the best interest of the company by avoiding leakages and ensuring cost conscious behavior.

  • Seamlessly coordinate day-to-day operations with the relevant internal and external partners for your team's scope (e.g. carriers, vendors, customs, regional trade lane management, cross-functional stakeholders, etc)

  • Execute the end-to-end movement of freight shipments within a regional network (both imports and exports), including intermodal movements.

  • Assist the shipments managed by partners as we drive partner autonomy and parity with insourced operations (if applicable in a given region).

  • Use data and operational tools to inform decisions, identify patterns in your work, and contribute to efficiency improvements.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree or completed professional training as forwarding agent.

  • 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics or freight forwarding

  • Have a technology (and AI)first mindset and can thrive in a fast paced environment.

  • Effective time management. Be able to properly prioritize and manage a large volume of tasks.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to effectively seek and receive feedback.

  • Effective communication both verbally and in writing.

  • Teamwork and relationship building.

  • Orientation towards working smarter and adopting best practices and standardization.

  • Problem-solving capabilities.

  • A “compliance first” attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about the company since we operate in a heavily regulated industry.

  • A client service mindset; you are obsessed with client satisfaction, and strive to investigate and troubleshoot the client’s problem.

  • Language requirement: Mandatory Spanish and fluency in English.
