LyondellBasell is seeking an experienced Manager, Occupational Safety for Europe, Asia, and International (EAI) to strengthen safety culture and advance GoalZERO performance. The role leads programs across regions, partners with site leaders, and drives regulatory compliance and employee well-being.

The preferred location is Rotterdam, with flexibility for other European locations. A minimum of 10 years in chemical manufacturing safety and a CSP/CIH or equivalent credential is advantageous.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in chemical manufacturing or similar industrial environment, mainly in occupational safety and health.
• Strong technical/regulatory expertise in safety including confined-space entry, energy isolation, line break, excavation, work permitting, working at heights, mobile equipment safety, behavior-based safety, contractor safety management, injury case management, and incident investigation.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credentials are a plus.
• Experience influencing within matrixed organizations and leading global initiatives; international experience preferred (3+ years).
• Willingness to travel approx. 25%, mainly to EAI facilities.

• Own and maintain corporate occupational safety standards and guidelines in alignment with regulatory requirements.
