Roche in Madrid invites a Network Observability Engineer to design and scale our observability stack, providing real-time insights across a global footprint and enabling reliable collaboration.

You will work with Linux/Unix and automation (Python, Bash, Ansible), collect data via SNMP and APIs, and build centralized dashboards that translate telemetry into actionable business intelligence for technical and executive stakeholders.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years in Network Operations, SRE, or DevOps environments
• Deep proficiency in Linux/Unix and automation (Python, Bash, or Ansible)
• Good understanding of connectivity technologies (CCNA level or equivalent experience)
• Hands-on experience with modern observability platforms and the ability to turn raw telemetry into actionable insights
• Experience with API-based data collection and integrating disparate data sources into unified dashboards
• Experience working with Data Lakes to aggregate and normalize disparate data types into cohesive, stakeholder-facing reports

Responsabilidades

• Architecture & Scaling: Design and scale observability stack to provide real-time insights across a massive global footprint
• Data Acquisition & Integration: Develop methods for extracting network data using SNMP, APIs, and telemetry
• System Administration & Tooling: Use Linux and system administration to maintain monitoring infrastructure and integrate tools
• Innovate & Prototype: Evaluate new monitoring solutions and open-source visualization tools to enhance observability
• Proactive Problem Solving: Use monitoring data to reduce MTTR and prevent incidents
• Unified Analytics & Stakeholder Reporting: Design and implement a centralized observability dashboard fed by our Data Lake for internal and external stakeholders
