Santander Corporate & Investment Banking is offering the Future Talents: CIB Summer Internship Program Europe - Global Markets - Trading. This full-time internship, running summer 2027, is designed for students entering their final year and aims to give hands-on experience in a fast-paced, international environment.

You will work with seasoned professionals across Europe, support pricing and execution across asset classes, monitor market movements, and learn quantitative models and data tools.

Formación

• University degree: Currently completing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance or another quantitative discipline, with expected graduation in summer 2028.
• English level: High proficiency in English. Knowledge of another language would be an advantage.
• Skills: Strong mathematical and analytical foundation; an interest in programming and data; knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint; attention to detail; curiosity; and the ability to learn in a fast-moving environment.
• Interest: A strong interest in global financial markets, trading, market risk, quantitative analysis and technology.

Responsabilidades

• Support the pricing and execution of transactions across asset classes such as interest rates, foreign exchange, credit, equity derivatives, cash equities and securities finance.
• Monitor and analyse market movements, helping identify opportunities and understand real‑time risk management.
• Collaborate with Sales colleagues to support trading strategies that respond to client needs.
• Learn to use quantitative models, data tools and technology platforms that support trading decisions.
• Contribute to market updates, trade ideas and the monitoring of positions and market risk.
