Job summary

INSUD PHARMA in Madrid is seeking a Global LIMS Coordinator to join the Quality team on a permanent basis. You will oversee the LIMS system, keep it validated, and support users and global teams in a regulated environment.

You will collaborate with IT, Project Planning, QA, and Global Quality Systems to troubleshoot issues, maintain master data, and drive continuous improvement across functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in direct computerized systems implementation and administration.
• Experience in regulated environments and maintaining systems in a validated/controlled state.
• Strong knowledge of Labware LIMS, both from a user and administration perspective.
• Spanish is a plus.
• Availability to travel approximately 15% of the time, with higher demand during global rollout phases.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Global LIMS Coordinator to join our Quality area in Madrid on a permanent basis. This role is key to ensuring the long-term sustainability of the LIMS system, maintaining its validated state, and supporting users and global teams in a regulated environment.

You will work cross-functionally with departments such as IT, Project Planning, QA, and Global Quality Systems, playing a critical role in system administration, business support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

The challenge!

• Ensure the long-term sustainability of the LIMS system by managing user requests and supporting business needs.
• Administer and maintain the system in a controlled and validated state.
• Process access requests and ensure proper user administration.
• Understand and maintain the system’s master data.
• Support the creation and update of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and training modules.
• Work closely with the business to troubleshoot system issues and provide effective solutions.
• Be responsible for development, workload management, and compliance with the technical and operational aspects of LIMS.
• Configure, administer, and troubleshoot the system to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and report data anomalies and propose system improvement opportunities.
• Liaise with different departments, especially IT, Project Planning & QA, and Global Quality Systems.
• Attend regular coordination and update meetings with various departments.
• Work with the line manager to prioritize issue resolution and adapt to changing plans and priorities.
• Support and mentor the LIMS Configuration team in their qualification activities.
• Assist in the implementation of LIMS in QC and provide support and training when required.
• Support LIMS procedures, work instructions, and training documentation.
• Provide support during internal, team, and regulatory audits.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and external consultants.

What do you need?

• University degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, or another relevant Science discipline.
• Other degrees will also be considered if combined with solid education/training in computerized systems.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in direct computerized systems implementation and administration.
• Experience working in regulated environments and maintaining systems in a validated/controlled state.
• Strong knowledge of Labware LIMS, both from a user and administration perspective.
• Experience in LIMS administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work with procedures, work instructions, technical documentation, and training materials.
• Spanish is a plus.
• Availability to travel approximately 15% of the time, although this percentage may significantly increase during global rollout phases.
• Autonomous, hands-on, hard-working profile with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage global expectations across international remote teams.
