Roche seeks a Global Category Manager for IT Software & Hardware to lead global strategy and negotiations in Sant Cugat del Vallès, Spain (or Indianapolis, US). You will manage tier-one providers, drive value, and align category goals with business priorities.
Required are a university degree, 5+ years in procurement, deep IT market knowledge, and English fluency. Willingness to travel up to 30% and global collaboration are essential.
Formación
- University degree in business or life sciences (preferred).
- 5+ years in strategic and operational procurement.
- Experience in regulated industries and related legal/quality risks.
- Deep knowledge of IT hardware and software markets.
- Experience with category management and strategic sourcing.
- Fluent business English.
Responsabilidades
- Formulate global Category Strategy and initiative pipeline.
- Lead high-value commercial and contractual negotiations.
- Manage key global suppliers and risk, develop supplier programs.
- Develop category guidance documents for procurement teams.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to maximize value and manage CSR.
- Coach procurement colleagues and oversee budget and team members.
