Job summary

Job Talent is hiring a Principal IT Engineer to own and evolve the technology experience for our global workforce. This senior, individual-contributor role spans identity, endpoint management, workplace applications, IT automation, security controls, and service operations.

You will partner with Security, Engineering, People, Finance, Legal, and business teams across countries and time zones to ensure secure, efficient work with minimal friction.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in corporate IT or workplace technology within global tech companies.
• Deep experience in a global, product-led, fast-paced environment with Google Workspace and Workspace ONE.
• Strong knowledge of SSO, SAML, OIDC, SCIM, MFA, and identity lifecycle management.
• Windows and macOS endpoint-management experience.
• Experience supporting global organisations across multiple countries and time zones.
• Experience automating workflows using APIs, scripting, and integration platforms.
• Strong understanding of SaaS administration, networking, security, and Zero Trust principles.
• Ability to design solutions independently and lead complex initiatives from architecture to production.
• Ability to define technical standards and mentor junior/mid-level IT professionals.
• Excellent English communication skills; strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and continuous improvement of our corporate IT environment.
• Manage identity, SSO, authentication, device management, and access controls.
• Own technologies including Google Workspace, Okta, Workspace ONE, Slack, and other critical workplace SaaS platforms.
• Define endpoint standards across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.
• Drive device trust, conditional access, compliance, and secure access to corporate applications.
• Evaluate and implement new workplace technologies and SaaS solutions.
• Drive IT service delivery and helpdesk operations for global coverage.
• Define service standards, SLAs, escalation processes, monitoring, and metrics.
• Mentor IT engineers and provide technical direction to teams.
• Create technical standards, guidelines, and operating procedures.
