Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking an experienced Internal Controller to support Financial Control & Accounting (South EMEA). You will work with the finance community across eight countries, evaluating controls and enabling remediation to safeguard financial statements.

You will gain exposure to key transaction flows and partner with regional teams, driving improvements in internal control and digitalization. Fluent English and 7+ years in financial reporting are required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration or similar.
• Minimum 7 years of advanced experience in financial reporting (including ideally 3 years in an audit firm).
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Perform and evaluate transaction-level controls according to yearly scope.
• Support management with actions and remediation regarding issues from internal testing or audits.
• Improve the internal control environment through digitalization and automation.
• Drive and support internal control related to projects and improvement activities.
• Lead and drive internal control awareness and trainings among operational teams.
• Be a knowledge base for internal control initiatives and questions.
