Job summary

Vanderlande in Barcelona is seeking an Integration Engineer to design, test and integrate complex parcel systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the system meets design specifications and performs robustly.

Key responsibilities include setting up test environments, executing system and integration tests on-site, and communicating results to developers and customers. Travel up to 60% is required; a engineering degree and PLC/IT knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in logistics, parcel or warehousing projects.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Siemens PLCs.
• Willing to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Integration Manager in test designs and test plans based on system design, risk analysis and customer demands.
• Organize test preparation meetings with internal teams and customers.
• Direct dialogue between project team and customer on integration and commissioning.
• Set up and configure test environments and test tooling; prepare execution for SFT & SST.
• Optimize resources and times to reduce costs.
• Execute integration, system and customer acceptance tests on-site.
• Analyze and report test results and verify solutions.
• Ensure Test Records are kept per the Integration Plan.
• Discuss results with developers, solution architects, customers or team members.
• Prepare and implement a procedure for Non-conformities and Corrective Actions; follow-up and closure.
