Job summary

Page Executive is seeking a Global Head of Medical Affairs to lead and transform the Medical function across the organization. The role requires deep leadership, cross-functional collaboration and the ability to drive medical strategy in international settings.

The successful candidate will manage Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Pharmacovigilance and Scientific Training, while building strong relationships with partners and stakeholders to support growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• Medical degree strongly preferred.
• Significant leadership experience within Medical Affairs.
• Experience within international or headquarters environments.
• Exposure to portfolio strategy, business development, partnerships or licensing activities.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive organizational change.
• Strong leadership, communication and people management capabilities.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and motivation to build and transform.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and transform the Medical function, driving its strategic positioning across the organization.
• Partner with Commercial and cross-functional teams to support business growth and medical strategy across key therapeutic areas.
• Build strong relationships with international partners, distributors and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to licensing opportunities, partnerships, due diligence processes and portfolio evaluation initiatives.
• Drive scientific excellence and ensure Medical Affairs contributes to business decisions.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams including Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Pharmacovigilance and Scientific Training.
• Establish processes, governance models and ways of working for growth.
• Contribute to innovation initiatives and future business opportunities.

Job Description

Reporting to a senior executive within the Innovation organization, the successful candidate will:

• Lead and transform the Medical function, driving its strategic positioning across the organization.
• Partner closely with Commercial and cross-functional teams to support business growth, portfolio development and medical strategy across key therapeutic areas including Ophthalmology, ENT, Gastroenterology, Urology and Consumer Health.
• Build strong relationships with international partners, distributors and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to licensing opportunities, partnerships, due diligence processes and portfolio evaluation initiatives.
• Drive scientific excellence and ensure Medical Affairs becomes a key contributor to business decision-making.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary teams covering Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Pharmacovigilance and Scientific Training.
• Establish new processes, governance models and ways of working that support organizational effectiveness and future growth.
• Actively contribute to innovation initiatives and future business opportunities.
