Hitachi Energy is seeking a Global Fire and Explosion Safety Specialist to lead and manage the Fire and Explosion Safety Program across global facilities. You will drive safety compliance, develop cross-functional strategies, and oversee risk assessments and investigations.

The role offers a chance to shape safety culture and operational excellence across multiple sites in Spain and beyond. The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of experience in fire and explosion safety, deep knowledge of EN (EU)

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering with a specialization in Fire and Explosion safety.
• Over 8 years of experience in relevant functions with knowledge of EN (EU) Fire and Explosion Regulations, SEVESO, ATEX, British Standards, API, and NFPA.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Fire and Explosion Safety Program and provide technical guidance.
• Assess and safeguard fire and explosion prevention systems at BU TR facilities, tools and equipment.
• Develop and implement cross-functional strategies for safety measures and standards.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Provide training and develop competencies at local sites.
• Define requirements for safety during purchasing, installation, and maintenance.
• Coordinate with Real Estate projects for safety compliance.
• Investigate incidents and prepare corrective and preventive action plans.
