Sanofi in Barcelona seeks a Global Category Manager in Digital Procurement to own end-to-end strategy for Software, IT Services, and Strategic Hardware across the group. You will lead complex negotiations, manage strategic supplier relationships, and drive AI-powered procurement transformation.

15+ years in Digital/IT procurement, master's degree, and fluent English are required plus strong stakeholder engagement. This role is based in Barcelona with global scope.

• Global, cross-functional experience.
• Fluent English; other languages a plus.
• Master's degree required.

Responsabilidades

• Design and execute competitive category strategies grounded in market intelligence, risk assessment, and long-range business planning.
• Drive supplier market expertise and identify emerging technologies, new suppliers, and service models.
• Contribute to Sanofi's AI-powered procurement transformation.
• Build and maintain a sub-category roadmap with a project and savings pipeline aligned to budget cycles.
• Deliver year-over-year world-class savings targets and optimize BOI.
• Lead strategic negotiations — globalization programs, harmonization initiatives, and critical supplier escalations.
• Establish risk mitigation plans underpinned by supplier assessments and scorecards.
• Engage senior leaders across Global Business Units and Support Functions to ensure procurement strategies are business-aligned.
• Partner with Country Procurement Heads to translate global strategies at the local level.
• Share market trends, benchmarks, and budget assumptions with key stakeholders.
• Coach and develop Global Lead Buyers and Domain team members.
• Foster a culture of procurement excellence, ethics, and continuous improvement.
