AIG is seeking a Commercial Property Underwriter in Madrid to contribute to the strategic development of our multinational property portfolio and manage broker relationships across the AIG network.

You will work cross-functionally with teams across AIG to uphold underwriting guidelines, train junior staff, and identify client-focused products and cross-selling opportunities, while maintaining strong broker and client relationships.

Formación

• Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience in property underwriting with strong technical insurance knowledge, international focus.
• Multinational experience and knowledge of local markets/regulations advantageous.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication, including presentations to stakeholders.
• Proven ability to build relationships with brokers and clients.
• Understanding of legal/regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the strategic development of our multinational portfolio.
• Develop and lead broker relationships establishing accretive pipelines and cross-selling opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally with other areas in AIG to achieve corporate objectives.
• Adhere to underwriting guidelines and decision-making standards.
• Collaborate in a team environment including development and training of junior staff.
• Maintain and develop strong broker and client relationships.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives and process enhancements.
• Identify and develop client-focused products and strategies.
• Utilize reinsurance capabilities and solutions where appropriate.
