Thomson Reuters is seeking a Cloud Media Solutions Engineer to design, implement, and support media production and delivery solutions for Reuters' global video operations. You will modernize broadcast and streaming workflows and collaborate with Editorial, Engineering, and other teams to drive efficiency, resiliency, and agility.

Formación

• 5+ years in broadcast engineering, media technology, television production, or related media environments.
• Hands-on experience with media production and broadcast systems (video, audio, contribution, distribution, monitoring, or newsroom workflows).
• Experience with cloud technologies and deploying solutions on platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with streaming/IP-based media technologies; familiarity with SRT, RIST, LRT; advantageous knowledge of NDI and DANTE.
• Demonstrated project delivery skills managing multiple initiatives, vendors, stakeholders, and priorities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams in a global organization.
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning, including interest in leveraging AI to enhance media operations.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate, design, and deploy media production, broadcast, and content delivery solutions using commercial platforms and internal apps
• Lead modernization of broadcast and streaming workflows including IPTV and cloud-based media services
• Collaborate with Editorial, Engineering, DevOps, Support, Real Estate, Finance, and Technology teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Manage technical projects and vendor engagements with planning, communication, risk management, and reporting
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies in broadcast, cloud, AI, streaming, and media operations
• Utilize AI-enabled tools to accelerate problem resolution, automate workflows, and enhance knowledge management
