Job summary

Almirall seeks a Global Clinical Development Physician to join the Strategic Clinical team within Global Clinical Development. The role provides medical input and oversight for clinical development projects, under supervision of a GCPL or line manager, and may deputize as GCPL for defined programs.

You will serve as the medical lead for study teams and ensure alignment with TPP and labeling. This position involves designing development plans, reviewing protocols and CSRs, and supporting ethics

Qualifications

• Fluent English both written and spoken.
• Medical degree required; dermatology specialty is a plus.
• Experience in clinical studies (investigator, industry, or CRO) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports GCPL and Clinical Development Scientist in designing development plans and studies.
• May deputize GCPL for defined tasks under supervision.
• Contributes to study protocol reviews and scientific content of key documents (IB, briefing package, CSRs, etc.).
• Provides medical support to Ethics committees and investigators during studies.
• Leads medical data review including eligibility and safety data.
• Collaborates with CDS and Clinical Operations to support study delivery and enrollment.
