Sulzer is seeking a Category Specialist, Sales Equipment to establish a coordinated global procurement approach for equipment and support the Water and Industry businesses from Barcelona or Madrid.

This role blends strategic category management with hands-on procurement execution: analyze purchasing data, consolidate suppliers, negotiate improved terms, and define frameworks for local procurement teams while collaborating with Sales, Project Management, Quality, and Engineering.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Around five years in strategic procurement or category management
• Experience in supplier relationships, negotiations, and contracts
• Strong English and MS Excel skills; ERP concepts understood

Responsabilidades

• Analyze purchasing data to identify markets, suppliers, and buyers
• Develop and implement a global category strategy for sales equipment
• Lead supplier consolidation, cost reduction, and negotiate contracts
• Establish procurement frameworks for sales entities and local teams
• Collaborate with Sales, Project Management, Quality, and Engineering
• Ensure compliance with policies and maintain procurement documentation
