Job summary

Syntax Security Organisation seeks a Global Director for Business AI Cyber Security. This role owns security offerings within Business AI, working with the Global CISO to define the strategy, ownership of the method, delivery, and roadmap.

You will lead engagements with vCISO resources and cross-team members as demand grows. As a trusted adviser and subject-matter expert on Business AI security, you will oversee strategy, design, and end-to-end delivery, ensuring offerings are secure by design

Qualifications

• Designing and launching a security service or offering from scratch.
• 8+ years in cyber security consulting or engineering.
• 3+ years leading a technical team or delivery function.
• Experience securing or assessing AI/ML systems in the last 2–3 years.
• Ability to advise at CISO/CTO level and translate technical risk into business decisions.
• Fluency in speaking, presenting and writing in English.
• German language skills are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy, target operating model and business case with senior leadership.
• Design end-to-end offerings (scope, engagement model, pricing inputs).
• Own the offering roadmap from first release and ensure secure design across portfolio.
• Develop and maintain IP: assessment runbook, evidence-collection toolset, risk model, report templates.
• Sign off go-live verdict on every assessment.
• Act as trusted adviser to customer CISOs/CTOs, translate findings into business risk.
• Own evidence behind security, compliance, and SLA claims.
• Recruit, lead and mentor Specialists; manage delivery capacity and enable sales.
• Define, track and report delivery quality, repeatability and performance.
