UN Secretariat in Barcelona seeks a senior consultant to advance the City Resilience Profiling Interactive Tool (CRPiT) and to support the NewMed2030 programme. You will apply geospatial analysis, web development, and data-driven methodologies to help partner cities understand risks and plan resilient, climate-aware actions.

Competenze
- Advanced degree in urban planning, IT, or related field.
- First-level degree with two years of relevant experience acceptable.
Mansioni
- Provide technical support to enhance the CRPiT platform, improving functionality, usability, performance, and scalability.
- Develop advanced analytical functionalities, including comparative analysis across time periods and pilot AI-assisted capabilities for preliminary interpretation of resilience indicators.
- Adapt and configure CRPiT modules for the NewMed2030 programme and ensure global replicability, including multilingual support.
- Generate, validate, and replicate resilience profiles for participating localities and other urban/regional contexts, adhering to methodological and quality assurance standards.
- Conduct technical testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance, support deployment, and develop necessary technical and user documentation, ensuring knowledge transfer to the technical team.
