JUNO Genetics-Spain in Valencia is seeking a Genetic Analyst to provide specialist clinical service in a reproductive genetics laboratory, supporting several departments and primarily working on preimplantation genetic testing (PGT).

You will interpret clinical data, ensure timely reporting, and contribute to the quality management system while collaborating with healthcare professionals. Proficiency in English is required.

Formación

• BSc or MSc in Biological Sciences or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Experience in reproductive genetics or PGT is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of maintaining an accredited clinical service incl. ENAC (ISO 15189) is desirable.
• Technical knowledge of molecular techniques (NGS, qPCR).
• NGS data analysis and interpretation.
• PGT-related genomic data interpretation.

Responsabilidades

• Interpret and evaluate clinical information and lab results to analyze patient specimens per SOPs and quality standards.
• Ensure accurate preparation, review, and timely release of clinical laboratory reports.
• Communicate patient results and answer inquiries from healthcare professionals within guidelines.
• Assist in preparing documents for the lab’s Quality Management System per ISO 15189.

JUNO Genetics-Spain is looking for a Genetic Analyst to join the team located in Valencia whose mission will be to provide a specialist clinical service in a reproductive genetics laboratory, including services across the different laboratory departments, mainly for the purpose of preimplantation genetic testing (PGT), following molecular genetic testing protocols and participating in the maintenance of the clinical quality performance of the genetic laboratory.

• Interpret and evaluate clinical information and laboratory results to analyse patient specimens in accordance with established SOPs and quality standards.
• Ensure the accurate preparation, review, and timely release of clinical laboratory reports.
• Communicate patient results and answer enquiries from healthcare professionals, providing information and explaining results, within departmental guidelines and according to the professional code of conduct.
• Assist, when required, in the preparation of documents for the laboratory’s Quality Management System, according to the standards of ISO 15189.
• BSc or MSc in Biological Sciences or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English.
• Previous experience in reproductive genetics, preimplantation genetic testing (or related genetic tests) is highly desirable.
• Desirable knowledge of maintaining an accredited clinical service, including ENAC (ISO 15189).
• Technical knowledge of various molecular techniques (NGS, qPCR, etc.).
• NGS data analysis and interpretation.
• Analysis and interpretation of PGT-related genomic data.
• Strong attention to detail.
