Opdenergy is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join the Seville team. Based in Sevilla with hybrid work options, you will handle financial transactions, loan and swap accounting, and progress tracking for construction projects.

Ideal candidates have FP in Administration and Finance or similar, experience in accounting, and familiarity with SAP and advanced Excel. English is a plus in this globally active renewable energy group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level accounting knowledge and finance background.
• Experience in accounting roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Calculate and account for financial transactions, loans, swaps, etc.
• Account for progress of projects under construction and record accruals.
• Review and reconcile intercompany balances and accounting entries.

Opdenergy is a growing independent renewable energy producer (IPP) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 21 years’ experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW.

Opdenergy is now looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our Seville team.

What will you help with?

• Calculation and accounting of financial transactions, loans, swaps, etc.
• Accounting and analysis of the progress of work on projects under construction.
• Recording of accruals of operating income and expenses.
• Review and reconciliation of intercompany balances.
• Accounting reconciliations.

Who you are:

• FP in Administration and Finance or similar.
• Based in Sevilla.
• Experience in similar positions.
• Experience in the renewable energies sector will be highly valued.
• Good command of the Office package — Advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of SAP will be favorable.
• Good English skills will be a plus.
