ELA Games in Valencia is seeking a Games Development Director to own the overall product strategy and drive the roadmap from concept to live operations. You will unite Game Design, Math, Art/UX, and Development to deliver high-impact, compliant iGaming experiences.

As the Games Development Director, you will own and drive the overall product strategy for the company. You will serve as the central product voice across the studio, translating high-level business goals into a high-impact game roadmap. Bringing together Game Design, Math, Art/UX, and Development, you will lead cross-functional teams from initial concept through launch and post-launch optimization.

Responsibilities

Strategic Vision & Roadmap Leadership

• Direct the complete game lifecycle - from ideation and design through production, release, and live operations.
• Collaborate closely with senior management to translate company strategy into a clear, actionable product vision and execution plan.
• Balance player engagement, game performance, regulatory/market requirements, and commercial goals in every product decision.
• Continuously analyze market trends, player behavior, and operator feedback to ensure ELA’s portfolio remains differentiated, competitive, and top-performing.

Team Leadership & Creative Oversight

• Unite and guide Game Design, Math, Art/UX, and Engineering teams toward shared vision and unified delivery goals.
• Maintain ultimate oversight of the creative, mathematical, and user experience direction of all games.
• Challenge concepts, mechanics, and design frameworks to ensure they meet ELA’s standards for quality, innovation, and strategic fit.
• Serve as a clear, inspiring leader and the central point of product direction across the studio.

Process, Innovation & Analytics

• Establish structured product development processes that keep releases on schedule without sacrificing quality.
• Identify new game mechanics, themes, features, and bonus systems that push boundaries in the iGaming space.
• Analyze post-launch game performance and player metrics to iterate on existing titles and inform future roadmap priorities.

Requirements

• Proven track record in a senior product leadership role (Head of Product, Senior Product Manager, or Product Director) within the iGaming / Online Casino industry.
• Demonstrated history of bringing successful casino games (slots, instant games, or table games) from concept to launch.
• Deep understanding of slot mechanics, mathematical modeling, visual design standards, UX flow, and technical development constraints.
• Strong ability to balance creative vision with business metrics, player retention strategies, and commercial ROI.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to align diverse creative and technical teams around a cohesive goal.
• Skilled in establishing disciplined development workflows, milestone tracking, and cross-functional production cadences.
