Job summary

The University of Barcelona invites applications for a fully-funded 2.5-year postdoctoral position in the Mucosal Immunology Lab to advance translational research on IBD. You will design and perform in vitro assays with primary cells, and apply systems immunology to identify predictive biomarkers of response to therapy.

You will collaborate with UB, CRG, CSIC, and OrikineBio, working across academia and industry in a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Immunology or closely related field.
• Experience with in vitro functional immunological assays using primary immune cells.
• Experience with single cell RNA sequencing.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced written and oral communication in English.
• Experience in human immunology or IBD research.
• Proven publications in high-impact journals.
• Experience with project management.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct in vitro functional assays using primary cells.

• Lead a collaborative public-private project across academia and industry.
