The Engineering Team

Our engineering team builds the infrastructure, interfaces, and applications that provide first‑class service to members, health professionals, and internal stakeholders.

We use Python/Flask, React, React Native, and PostgreSQL. Our process is simple: product decisions are made by the same people who build them.

• Own critical product decisions as a domain expert, shaping how Alan delivers healthcare in Spain.
• Innovate on healthcare delivery by building tools that bridge the gap between insurance, providers, and members.

Who We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of engineering experience in a product‑first environment.
• High‑impact mindset, comfortable tackling high‑risk projects with many engineers.
• Experience designing efficient systems and engineering practices that enable cross‑team collaboration.
• Mentoring and hiring experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Well‑versed in Object‑Oriented Programming (Python, Java, C#, etc.) and enthusiastic about modern JavaScript.
• Willingness to work in Python/JavaScript; prior experience in both not required.
• Passionate about building products and confident in end‑to‑end delivery.
• Self‑starting, entrepreneurial, and humble with a desire to grow.
• Collaborative, eager to teach and learn, and fluent in English.
