Job summary

AXER Credit, a stealth fintech, seeks a strong full-stack engineer to own and ship features in a fast-paced early stage setting. You will collaborate with founders, product and design to deliver scalable web applications from concept to production.

The role requires hybrid work with at least three days in the Málaga office, and offers competitive compensation with benefits and potential equity upside for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Strong track record building modern full-stack web apps.
• Strong React and frontend engineering skills.
• Backend API and distributed systems experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and relational design.
• Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native development.
• Experience using AI-assisted development to improve productivity and software quality.
• Strong English communication skills (B2 minimum, C1 or above preferred).
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices.
• Strong team player with a collaborative and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve core platform features across frontend and backend.
• Develop modern web applications using TypeScript and Next.js.
• Design clean APIs and scalable backend services.
• Work closely with the founders, product and design on fast iteration cycles.
• Help shape engineering standards, architecture and development practices.
• Build secure, reliable and observable cloud-native systems on AWS.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, testing and automation.
• Take ownership from idea to production.
• Containers and serverless services, GitHub and CI/CD workflows.
• Implement modern observability and monitoring tooling.

Company Description

We are a stealth fintech tackling a structurally inefficient corner of private capital markets. We are pre-launch, moving fast and fully funded.

This is a foundational hire. We are looking for a strong full-stack engineer who enjoys ownership, ships quickly and wants to help shape both the product and the engineering culture from an early stage.

You will grow with the company and shape the role as we scale.

The Role

Reports to the Chief Technology Officer

Hybrid: at least three days per week in our Málaga office

What you'll be doing

Building and evolving core platform features across frontend and backend

Developing modern web applications using TypeScript and Next.js

What we're looking for
