Job summary

Livensa Group is seeking a software engineer to help build and evolve its digital product used by thousands of residents. You will own features across .NET GraphQL services, the websites and the resident app, collaborating with the Head of Data & AI, product and design teams.

You will work with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Terraform-based infrastructure, and external partners to deliver production-ready services that power critical operations for housing communities.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years building web applications with C# / .NET.
• Proficiency in React and TypeScript for web; mobile experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain .NET services exposed through a GraphQL federation behind Azure API Management.
• Develop features for the websites (Optimizely CMS 12 on .NET 8, React 19 + TypeScript) and the resident app (React Native, Expo).
• Work with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and releases across dev, UAT and prod.
• Contribute to infrastructure as code in Terraform on Azure (Container Apps, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure SQL, Redis, Key Vault).
• Integrate with partners' APIs: Mews, HubSpot, DocuSign, SendGrid and others.
• Keep production healthy: monitoring and alerts, incident response, security fixes.
• Automate tests, reviews, deployments, and AI-assisted development.
• Collaborate with design to follow design principles.

Job description

Livensa is one of Europe's leading student and flex living operators, with around 12,000 beds across Spain and Portugal and plans to grow into Italy, Germany, France and Austria. Part of the Nido Living group, owned by CPP Investments. We have just launched a new digital platform: websites for Livensa Living and Livensa Studios, a resident app for iOS and Android, and the services behind them. Now we are bringing it in-house, and you will be one of the first engineers on the team.

The role

You will build and evolve our digital product and take a growing share of its releases, working with the Head of Data & AI, product, design and an external delivery partner. This is a hands-on role with real ownership: what you ship is booked, paid for and lived in by thousands of residents.

What you will do

• Build and maintain .NET services exposed through a GraphQL federation (Hot Chocolate / Fusion) behind Azure API Management.
• Develop features in the websites (Optimizely CMS 12 on .NET 8, with React 19 + TypeScript components) and the resident app (React Native, Expo).
• Work with our CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and run releases across dev, UAT and prod.
• Contribute to infrastructure as code in Terraform on Azure (Container Apps, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure SQL, Redis, Key Vault).
• Integrate with our partners' APIs: Mews (PMS and billing), HubSpot, DocuSign, SendGrid and others.
• Keep production healthy: monitoring and alerts (Application Insights, Log Analytics), incident response, security fixes.
• Automate the boring parts: tests, reviews, deployments, and AI-assisted development.
• Work with our design team to ensure new components follow our design principles.

What you bring

• 2–4 years building web applications, with C# / .NET.
• React and TypeScript for the web; React Native experience or a clear interest in mobile.
• Some experience with CI/CD and cloud, ideally Azure.
• API design basics (REST or GraphQL) and SQL.
• Autonomous and curious: you ask early and learn fast in a small team.
• Professional Spanish & English; you can explain technical choices to non-technical colleagues.

Nice to have

• Optimizely or another .NET CMS (Razor views); Expo and app store releases; Vite, Tailwind, Redux, Storybook or Vitest.
• Experience with Mews, HubSpot or other hospitality / CRM platforms.
• Terraform or other infrastructure as code; application security basics (OWASP, auth flows).
• Shape a platform from day one, with a direct line to the leadership team.
• A product used daily by thousands of residents in growing markets.
• Modern stack, managed cloud services, and room to automate.
