Shakers is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Developer for a FinTech platform, offering hands-on ownership over core systems and APIs.

The role spans frontend (React/Angular) and backend (Java/Python/Node.js/Go) with a focus on high-volume transactional workflows, security and performance. You'll partner with product, data and business teams and mentor juniors, using AI-assisted tooling to move fast while maintaing quality.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience across front-end and back-end.
• Experience with high-volume or transactional systems.
• Fluent English.
• Availability for a hybrid model in Madrid (Retiro), 2 days/week onsite.

Senior Full Stack Software Developer - FinTech Platform ?

At Shakers, we're partnering with a company building a next-generation financial services platform to bring on a Senior Full Stack Software Developer. It's a hands-on role with real ownership over core systems, working two days a week from a Madrid office in Retiro.

The challenge

The team is building out the core of a financial platform from the ground up: customer-facing portals, backend services, and the APIs that tie everything together. There's real ownership here, working closely with product, data and business stakeholders on architecture, security and performance decisions, while also reviewing code and mentoring less senior developers. Delivery speed matters, and the team leans on AI-assisted tooling (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to move fast without cutting corners on quality.

Requirements
