Shakers busca un Desarrollador Senior Full Stack para una plataforma FinTech en Madrid. Rol práctico con propiedad sobre sistemas centrales, en modelo híbrido, 2 días a la semana en la oficina de Retiro.

Trabajarás en portales para clientes, servicios backend y APIs, colaborando con producto, datos y negocio; revisarás código y orientarás a desarrolladores junior, aprovechando herramientas IA para acelerar la entrega sin comprometer la calidad.

Formación

• 5+ años de experiencia en desarrollo de software.
• Experiencia práctica en frontend (React/Angular) y backend (Java/Python/Node.js/Go).
• Experiencia con sistemas de alto volumen o transaccionales.
• Buena capacidad de resolución de problemas.
• Fluido en inglés.
• Disponibilidad para modelo híbrido en Madrid (Retiro), 2 días/semana in situ.

Responsabilidades

• Diseñar y construir módulos centrales de una plataforma financiera.
• Desarrollar experiencias de portal para clientes en el frontend.
• Construir y escalar servicios backend y REST APIs.
• Contribuir a decisiones de arquitectura y dirección técnica.
• Mantener estándares de seguridad, rendimiento y fiabilidad en toda la pila.
• Colaborar con equipos de producto, datos y negocio en la entrega.
• Revisar código y apoyar el crecimiento de desarrolladores junior.
• Usar herramientas asistidas por IA para acelerar el desarrollo sin perder calidad.

Senior Full Stack Software Developer - FinTech Platform

At Shakers, we are partnering with a company building a next-generation financial services platform to bring on a Senior Full Stack Software Developer. Its a hands-on role with real ownership over core systems, working two days a week from a Madrid office in Retiro.

The challenge

The team is building out the core of a financial platform from the ground up: customer-facing portals, backend services, and the APIs that tie everything together. There's real ownership here, working closely with product, data and business stakeholders on architecture, security and performance decisions, while also reviewing code and mentoring less senior developers. Delivery speed matters, and the team leans on AI-assisted tooling (Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) to move fast without cutting corners on quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core modules of a financial services platform
• Develop customer-facing portal experiences on the front end
• Build and scale backend services and REST APIs
• Contribute to architecture decisions and technical direction
• Uphold security, performance and reliability standards across the stack
• Partner with product, data and business teams on delivery
• Review code and support the growth of junior developers
• Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate development without compromising quality

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience across front-end (React or Angular) and back-end (Java, Python, Node.js or Go)
• Experience with high-volume or transactional systems
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Fluent English
• Availability for a hybrid model in Madrid (Retiro), 2 days/week onsite

Nice to have

• Experience in FinTech, financial software or payment systems
• Experience mentoring developers or leading technical projects
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes or DevOps practices
