Belmoney is a Belgian fintech company operating in the international money transfer space. We're looking for a Middle/Senior Software Engineer to join our product team in Madrid to build full-stack solutions spanning frontend and backend.

You will design and implement backend services, work with cloud infrastructure on AWS, and mentor junior engineers while collaborating with product, DevOps, and compliance teams to ensure robust and compliant systems.

Formación

• 4+ years of commercial experience in fullstack/backend development.
• Strong command of C#/.NET and solid frontend experience with TypeScript/React.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems design principles.
• English proficient enough for daily work communication.

Responsabilidades

Belmoney is a Belgian fintech company operating in the international money transfer (remittance) space. We're looking for a Middle/Senior Software Engineer to join our product team.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain fullstack solutions spanning frontend and backend
• Design and implement backend services (APIs, payment provider integrations, event processing)
• Work with cloud infrastructure to build resilient, scalable systems
• Contribute to product architecture decisions, participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers
• Collaborate closely with product, DevOps, and compliance teams (KYC/AML, PSP flows)

• Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript
• Infrastructure: AWS (SQS, SNS, Lambda, EventBridge), Docker

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of commercial experience in fullstack/backend development
• Strong command of C#/.NET and solid frontend experience with TypeScript/React
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

• English proficient enough for daily work communication

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Ukrainian and/or Russian is a strong plus - it will help with communication across part of our team and customer base
• Experience in fintech, payments, or banking
• Experience with event-driven architecture (SQS/SNS/Kafka)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC)
