commercetools seeks an experienced AI/ML engineer to own end-to-end AI capabilities, from data context to generative UI. You will ship and operate full-stack apps, spanning backend, frontend, data, and ML, collaborating across teams to drive reliable production features.

You will ground models with retrieval/embeddings, design evaluation systems, and take capabilities from prototype to production, ensuring observability and robust guardrails in a hybrid European setting.

Formación

• 5+ years shipping production software.
• 2+ building with LLMs in production (real users).
• Hands-on experience with UI protocols (A2UI, AG-UI, MCP-UI).
• Experience with prompt/context engineering, agents, tool use, evals.

Responsabilidades

• Build agent loops and orchestration: tool use, structured outputs, enforcement of rules.
• Build the integration layer (via MCP) for secure backend/API calls.
• Render model outputs into live UI via generative-UI protocols.
• Ground models with retrieval/embeddings and feedback loops.
