DXC Technology, a global IT services leader, is hiring a Front-end Software Engineer to join the Assure Digital Platform team in Asturias. You will work with UX designers and front-end engineers, contributing to cloud-native SaaS solutions and API-enabled services.

You will mentor peers, implement scalable UI features with React and design systems, and collaborate with product owners and back-end engineers to shape roadmaps. English fluency and strong coding standards are essential.

Formación

• 3-5 years experience in front-end development.
• High level English communication.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, React and testing.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate, research and develop new tools, cloud tech for the DXC Assure platform.
• Participate in full product life cycle with Product Owners and Architects.
• Deliver new features with clean, reusable, tested code focusing on scalability, availability and cost.
• Mentor peers through code reviews and pair programming sessions.
• Help define system strategy and roadmaps for new initiatives with product management, design leadership and engineering.
• Collaborate with inner/open-source community to improve Halstack design system.

At DXC Spain we are looking for a Front-end Software Engineer to join our great team of Assure.

DXC Assure Digital Platform is a digitally-enabled, end-to-end SaaS offering that provides business services supporting the entire insurance industry. It is cloud native at is core, API enabled, configurable and highly automated.

With international projection, the candidate will work from the Asturias Center, joining a global team of UX designers and front-end engineers. But also with back-end engineers, Architects and Product Owners, all of them contributing towards DXC Assure SaaS offering roadmap (https://www.dxc.technology/insurance/offerings/11097/143645-dxc_assure_digital_platform)

The candidate will join DXC’s Software Build organization, which oversees all the innovation and R&D of DXC’s intellectual property for product offerings. This includes contribution to DXC’s Open Source and Publicly Available projects such as Halstack Design System (https://developer.assure.dxc.com/halstack/16/overview/introduction/) and DXC Developer Central (https://developer.assure.dxc.com/#/) which are developed from Asturias.

DXC Assure Digital Platform is being built and delivered to international customers following Agile methodologies and cloud technologies in a multidisciplinary, multi-language, and multi-cultural team.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experiencie

• Desirable: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) engineering, Component-Based Programming, AWS Architecture knowledge,REST APIs Knowledge,Event Driven Architecture.

Tasks:

• Investigation, research and development of new tools, cloud technologies, platforms, and languages to be added to the DXC Assure Digital Platform roadmap.

• Participate in the full Product life cycle, working with Product Owners and Architects on shaping the new features to be added to the DXC Assure Digital Platform.

• Deliver new Product features resolving complex problems, always focusing on a clean, reusable, and tested code, but also scalability, availability and cost.

• Do active mentoring and coaching pairing with other peers in code reviews or pair programming sessions providing support, resources, and encouragement to growth as professionals.

• Be actively involved in defining the strategy of the system, helping to shape and develop roadmaps for new initiatives in collaboration with product management, design leadership and engineering.

• Communicate with the Inner/Open-Source community, improving Halstack design system by applying user-centered methodologies and other internal platform services and tools.
