Cross Border Talents seeks a French Content Moderator to help maintain a safe online community. You will review content, investigate reports, and enforce platform policies to protect users. The role requires fluency in French and English and permanent work eligibility in Bulgaria, with on-site duties in Sofia.

Salary is disclosed, with a 40-hour workweek and rotational shifts. The package includes a relocation bonus and company-provided accommodation to support relocation and settling in

We are seeking a French Content Moderator to help maintain a safe, respectful, and positive online environment for our users and community. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating user-generated content, investigating reports, and taking appropriate action to enforce community standards and platform policies.

You will play a key role in identifying harmful behavior, mitigating risks, and improving the overall user experience by proactively addressing safety concerns and supporting continuous improvements to trust and safety processes.

Please note: You must be eligible to work in Bulgaria and able to work in Sofia, that's mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate user-generated content, including profiles, videos, messages, and other reported content, ensuring compliance with community guidelines and platform policies.
• Investigate, assess, elevate, and resolve issues reported by users or flagged by internal systems.
• Analyze data and contextual information to accurately determine the severity and impact of reported incidents.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams when handling sensitive or complex trust and safety matters.
• Monitor trends and emerging risks to identify potential threats and prevent abuse before it occurs.
• Develop qualitative and quantitative reports to support continuous improvement, optimization, and innovation within trust and safety operations.
• Review new and existing platform features, providing recommendations that enhance user safety and reduce opportunities for misuse.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and secure community experience by enforcing policies consistently and fairly.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Frenchand English (minimum B1/B2 level).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex situations and make sound decisions.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make critical decisions under pressure.
• Experience reviewing content, moderating online communities, customer support, compliance, risk management, or trust and safety operations is an advantage.
• Passion for online safety, digital communities, and creating positive user experiences.
• Valid Authorization to work in Bulgaria

Working Conditions

• Location: On-site
• Starting date: 31st of August & September
• Schedule: Rotational shifts between Monday and Sunday
• Working Hours: 40 hours per week
• Salary: 1485 euros per month
• Performance Bonus: to be disclosed

Relocation Package (if applicable)

• Relocation Bonus: €1,500 Gross (paid in 2 installments) - to support relocation and initial rent costs.
