VeraContent is seeking Freelance Social Media Localization Specialists (EN→ES) to join our remote team. This Madrid-based-friendly, project-based role focuses on adapting English content for Spanish audiences across Instagram, Facebook and other channels.

You will translate, transcreate when needed and time posts according to agricultural seasonal trends, using Canva for assets and subtitling where required. Flexible approx. 10–15 hours per week, with opportunities to grow.

Formación

• Markets: we’re hiring for English to Spanish.
• Experience in creating, adapting and localising content for Instagram, Facebook and Eurostaffs.
• Strong experience in the agricultural sector.
• Able to adapt English posts for your market’s audience.
• Able to judge when translation, transcreation or full rethinking is needed.
• Knowledgeable about posting times and seasons for agriculture in your market.
• Experience with Canva for static and video content.
• Experience subtitling.

About the Project

We’re partnering with a new client in the agricultural sector. They’re an international agricultural group specializing in seed breeding, varietal innovation, and local farm distribution. We’re seeking to expand our team of freelancers with individuals specialised in social media localisation with experience in, or a strong knowledge of, the agricultural sector in Spain.

Requirements

Markets: we’re hiring for English to Spanish

• Experience in creating, adapting and localising content for Instagram, Facebook and Eurostaffs
• Strong experience in the agricultural sector
• Able to take a post in English and adapt it for your market’s audience
• Able to judge when a post requires translation, transcreation or needs to be fully rethought
• Knowledgeable about the best posting times and seasons for the agricultural sector in your market
• Experience working in Canva for static and video content
• Experience subtitling

Responsibilities

• Adapting global content calendars to your market
• Translating social media copy directly in Canva assets – there will be no designing from scratch, but you may be required to make small tweaks in Canva to account for the translated text
• Advising on the best time to post certain topics in accordance with agricultural seasons in your market
• Scheduling posts directly in the client’s social media account or through a publishing tool
